Jacques A. LOM is the Founder & Managing Partner of The Rainbow Africa, an independent strategic and financial advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, restructuring, and strategic consulting. With over thirty years of experience in the financial sector, particularly in investment banking and financial advisory, he assists executives, family groups, and institutional investors in the design and implementation of their strategic transactions.
In this capacity, he has led and successfully completed numerous mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic consulting transactions in the banking, microfinance, and mobile money sectors across the African continent.
Throughout his career, he has held general management positions in Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Malawi, as well as roles as Deputy Regional Director for West and Southern Africa, Director of Development for Africa, and Associate Director for Africa. He was also a keynote speaker at the 2023 African Microfinance Conference and serves as an independent director on several boards.
Jacques A. LOM holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance & Investment Banking. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School and IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School.
